About Jo Aubry Fine Art
Meet Jo Aubry
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Jo is an American artist with a diverse portfolio that includes various mediums and sizes. She has been influenced by pioneers such as Joaquin Sorolla and Monet. Current day Master Artists who have greatly influenced her work are Christine Lashley, Kathleen Hudson, Scott Christensen, Ken Salaz, Leon Holmes, Joseph Zbukvic, Thomas W Schaller and many others. With a degree in Graphic Design, she merges design principles with fine art.
Jo was born and raised in Miami, FL with both sweet and spicy southern influence from time spent living in Miami, New Orleans, and Atlanta. As a Miami native, she embraces the multicultural flair from her many Caribbean, Cuban, and Puerto Rican friends. She is innately drawn to coastal scenes which flow effortlessly onto the canvas. Having traveled the Caribbean, her pieces often exude the memorizing colors of the teal blue seas and palms blowing in the breeze. Her passion for the tropics tend to find way into nearly every piece. Be sure to look for hidden treasures.
While Jo intimately knows the eastern seaboard of the U.S. and the coastal scenes off the Atlantic, she is inspired by recent trips to Lake Tahoe with surprisingly crystal clear turquoise waters surrounded by snow capped mountains. Blessed with international travel, Jo has recently been to the jewel of Italy, Positano along the Amalfi Coast where the the architecture, landscape, and people have forever influenced her. She looks forward to expanding her horizons with travel and capturing this beautiful planet we live

While I've known I was an artist by age 5, I haven't always had the privilege of creating art. Life's twists and turns offered different opportunities allowing me to become multifaceted in a variety of industries. I'm thrilled the path to art has finally come full circle. It's exhilarating to have the opportunity to put brush to canvas. I'm simply His vehicle. Can't wait to see where He takes me.
